| Samsung Galaxy Tab now available from AT&T Posted: 21 Nov 2010 01:52 PM PST The Samsung Galaxy Tab is now available from AT&T. The Tab is an Android 2.2 powered tablet that features a 1GHz processor and a 7-inch touchscreen display. The AT&T version comes with 16GB of built-in storage, like T-Mobile's, but sells for an additional $50 ($649) and comes with a $50 Samsung Media Hub credit that can be used for purchasing or renting movies and television programs. AT&T is not offering the Galaxy Tab on contract, but does offer $14.99 and $25 per month data plans that provide 250MB and 2GB of data, respectively. | Apple iOS 4.2.1 Gold Master now available to Apple developers Posted: 21 Nov 2010 01:10 PM PST Apple has released the latest version of its iOS operating system, iOS 4.2.1 Gold Master, to Apple developers. The new iOS works on Apple's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices and became available to developers as of Thursday. The public release of Apple's operating system iOS 4.2 is expected soon. | Apple, Motorola beat Samsung and RIM in customer satisfaction Posted: 21 Nov 2010 09:05 AM PST According to data in a ChangeWave survey, Apple and Motorola customers are the most satisfied with their purchases, with 77 percent of Apple customers reporting they are "very satisfied" and 71 percent of Motorola customers equally pleased. Samsung and RIM had significantly lower scores, 45 and 44 percent, respectively, and HTC was in the middle with 63 percent claiming to be "very satisfied". The survey participants had all purchased new phones within the prior 6 months. The survey also found that the Apple iPhone 4 and the HTC EVO 4G are the highest rated phones in terms of satisfaction. Also noteworthy is the fact that 34 percent of the non-iPhone customers said that they would have picked up an iPhone instead of their current device had the iPhone been available on their carrier.
