| Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread launch imminent Posted: 13 Nov 2010 10:32 AM PST It appears that Google is just about ready to officially take the wraps off of the latest version of its Android smartphone operating system: Android 2.3, which carries the code name of "Gingerbread." | Facebook briefly blocked in Saudi Arabia Posted: 13 Nov 2010 10:28 AM PST According to a report by the Associated Press, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia briefly blocked internet surfers within its borders from accessing the Facebook social networking website. The block was in effect for a few hours earlier today, according to an anonymous source, but that access to Facebook has now been restored. The source did not say what, in particular, had caused the Saudi government to briefly block the site. Read the full story here.
