| Skyfire ending Windows Mobile and Symbian support Posted: 17 Nov 2010 04:52 AM PST Skyfire has announced that it is killing off its legacy v1.0 Windows Mobile and Symbian browsers on December 31, 2010. It will turn its focus to its version 2.0 product and today's latest smartphones and tablets, which offer HTML5, offline browsing, Javascript, and WebKit browsers. | T-Mobile says Even More Plus plans still available Posted: 16 Nov 2010 05:08 PM PST In a very brief message emailed to MobileBurn this evening, T-Mobile said that its contract-free Even More Plus plans, which allow customers to get reduced monthly rates when they purchase a device at full retail price, will still be offered in a "Want More Options?" section of its website. The Even More Plus plans were offered on T-Mobile's website side-by-side with the contract based Even More plans until they were recently removed. | Google strikes marketing deals for Goggles app Posted: 16 Nov 2010 08:21 AM PST Google is now working with T-Mobile, Diageo PLC, Delta Airlines, Walt Disney Co, and GM's Buick to create a web-marketing experiment with Google Goggles, the Wall Street Journal says. Users will be able to snap a photo of new ads, posters, and other marketing media using Google Goggles; the app will then direct them to a website related to the media. Google hopes that Goggle's new capabilities will help it earn revenue from the application. Google Goggles is a free application available on Android and on the iPhone. Read the full story here. |

| RadioShack selling Sprint Samsung Galaxy Tab Posted: 16 Nov 2010 06:32 AM PST Today RadioShack announced that it will sell the Sprint flavor of Samsung's Galaxy Tab. The Samsung Galaxy Tab is a 7-inch tablet that runs Android 2.2 Froyo. It's powered by a 1GHz processor and also supports Flash 10.1 content in the web browser.
