RIM offers Bubble Bash 2 app for BlackBerry as outage compensation Posted: 22 Oct 2011 09:03 AM PDT RIM is now offering its second free app to BlackBerry users as part of its compensation for the massive service outage that took place last week. The free Bubble Bash 2 app follows on the heels of the DriveSafe.ly Pro app that RIM started offering a few days ago. Bubble Bash 2 normally retails for $4.99, but it will be available for free in the BlackBerry App World, compliments of RIM. BBC iPlayer app for iOS devices updated with AirPlay streaming Posted: 22 Oct 2011 08:15 AM PDT Apple users can now grab the updated version of the BBC's global iPlayer app from Apple's App Store. The site allows users to sign-up to receive updates on the device. The Samsung-built Galaxy Nexus is Google's latest flagship smartphone, and it is the first device to run the new Android 4.0 operating system.
