Sharp Aquos Phone 104SH sports 1.5GHz dual-core processor for Japan

Alongside the Aquos Phone 102SH, Softbank also announced the Sharp Aquos Phone 104SH this week. The 104SH drops the 102SH's glasses-free 3D display, but it bumps the processor up to a smoking, 1.5GHz dual-core chip.

Along with the powerhouse smartphones from Dell and Panasonic, Softbank unveiled two lustworthy models from Sharp that will be gracing the Japanese network in the near future. The Aquos Phone 102SH is the first of the two, and sports a 4.5-inch glasses-free 3D display with 720p resolution.

Panasonic LUMIX Phone 101P pairs a powerful camera with Android 2.3 Gingerbread

This week, Japanese carrier Softbank unveiled a number of smartphones that it will be carrying in the near future, and the Panasonic LUMIX Phone 101P is one of the them. The LUMIX Phone 101P borrows heavily from Panasonic's experience with its LUMIX line of digital cameras, and pairs some powerful optics with Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

Verizon appeals FCC's net neutrality rules
