The smartphone features a Super AMOLED 4-inch touchscreen display, speedy 3G connectivity for web browsing, mobile hotspot capabilities to allow the phone to connect up to 5 WiFi enabled devices, an HD capable camera/camcorder, and Google's Android 2.1 operating system. Samsung ships 1 million Galaxy S smartphones in the U.S. Posted: 29 Aug 2010 07:53 AM PDT Today Samsung announced that it has shipped over one million of its Android powered Galaxy S smartphones in the United States. The Galaxy S has launched on AT&T as the Captivate, on T-Mobile USA as the Vibrant, and on Sprint as the Epic 4G. It is launching as the Fascinate on Verizon Wireless this fall.
