Google Maps for BlackBerry now offers Biking directions, search and share Posted: 02 Jun 2010 12:32 PM PDT Today Google announced that Google Maps 4.2 for BlackBerry now provides directions for bicyclists. You can choose to take bike-only trails, bike lanes, or good biking roads without a dedicated lane. Just be sure to look both ways before crossing the road. The new search and share features let you view reviews of destinations, such as restaurants, and share places on a map by email or text message. The same features launched on Android in early May. Swiss firm files patent infringement lawsuit against AT&T and T-Mobile USA Posted: 02 Jun 2010 11:39 AM PDT A Swiss firm named Starhome GmbH has filed patent infringement suits against both T-Mobile USA and AT&T claiming that both infringed on patents issued in 2005 and 2007 that involve short codes. RadioShack doors opening at 6am for Sprint HTC EVO 4G Posted: 02 Jun 2010 11:05 AM PDT RadioShack will open its doors to Sprint HTC EVO 4G preorder customers on June 4th at 6am. Nokia C3 S40 smartphone now available in U.K. and Indonesia Posted: 02 Jun 2010 10:55 AM PDT Today Nokia announced that its S40 powered QWERTY phone, the C3, is now available in Indonesia and the United Kingdom. The device provides easy access to Facebook and Twitter, has a 2.4-inch display, a 2 megapixel camera, and can support up to 8GB of storage. In early May we reported that the C3 would be heading to Vodafone U.K. in June, although it isn't yet listed on the carrier's website. Read the full story here. |

The plan will provide every new device with information on the phone's energy use and greenhouse gas emissions. Eco Profiles are available for the Nokia X2, C3, and C6 phones.
