Nokia 700 smartphone hits the UK in early October Posted: 27 Sep 2011 05:23 AM PDT The Nokia 700, one of the Symbian Belle smartphones that the company announced late last month, will be available for purchase in the UK in early October. Customers will have their choice of Vodafone, Everything Everywhere, O2, and Virgin as carriers when it arrives. The 700 is Nokia's smallest smartphone available, and it is powered by a 1GHz processor. It features a 3.2-inch ClearBlack AMOLED display with nHD resolution (360 x 640 pixels). Nokia begins shipping N9 MeeGo smartphone to places other than America Posted: 27 Sep 2011 04:57 AM PDT Nokia has revealed that shipments of the N9, its flagship MeeGo smartphone, have finally been sent out to stores. The N9 is available in 16GB and 64GB configurations and can be had in black, cyan, or magenta color schemes. The 16GB model has a suggested retail price of 480 EUR (US$650), and the 64GB version is priced at 560 EUR (US$758). It should be available in stores across Europe soon.
