Video: Video: HTC Radar Hands-On and First Look Posted: 02 Sep 2011 12:32 PM PDT The HTC Radar is the second of HTC's newly announced Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) handsets, unveiled at several locations across Europe. The Radar is a smaller handset than the Titan, and features a 3.8-inch display with the same WVGA resolution of its bigger brother. The Radar also boasts a 5 megapixel camera that sports a 28mm lens and f/2.2 aperture like it's bigger brother, and also has a backlit sensor, which should make an improvement over HTC's previous phone cameras. The HTC Radar crams its components into a sleek aluminum unibody and is powered by a 1GHz processor, with 8GB of storage for your music and photos. Watch the video here. |
Google pushes Android 2.3.6 with voice search fix to Nexus S Posted: 02 Sep 2011 11:55 AM PDT Google has started pushing an update to the Nexus S smartphone that brings it up to Android version 2.3.6. The update is said to include a fix for a voice search bug, along with a few security patches. If there are any other improvements contained within, Google isn't saying. Video: RIM BlackBerry Torch 9850 (Sprint) smartphone video tour Posted: 02 Sep 2011 10:13 AM PDT The BlackBerry Torch 9850 is one of the new BlackBerry 7 smartphones recently announced by RIM. It is the first all-touchscreen BlackBerry to be available from Sprint, and it features the largest screen on any BlackBerry to date at 3.7 inches in size. That 3.7-inch screen sports a WVGA (480 x 800 pixel) resolution. The Torch 9850 is powered by a 1.2GHz processor with RIM's Liquid Graphics engine and has 768MB of RAM.
