Posted: 23 Aug 2011 07:43 AM PDT

Following any new smartphone announcement from RIM are the various carrier announcements proclaiming that they will be stocking the new phones, and it looks like Sprint is one of the first ones out of the gate for the new Curve smartphones with its announcement of the BlackBerry Curve 9350. The Curve 9350 will be hitting the Now Network on September 9 for $79.99 on-contract. Not a bad entry level price for the phone, but it is admittedly more than the $49.99 that AT&T is asking for the higher-end Torch 9810. Sprint business customers will get a little bit better of a price on the 9350, as they will only have to fork over $49.99 for the phone. The Curve 9350 features the new BlackBerry 7 OS and a new, 5 megapixel camera with flash.
