ASUS claims Eee Pad Transformer will outsell all other Android tablets this month

ASUS' CEO, Jerry Shen, claims that shipments of the Eee Pad Transformer Android tablet in June will exceed those of every other Android tablet on the market. He claims that the 300,000 Transformers that ASUS intends to ship is second only to Apple's iPad 2. Shen also says that the company shipped 400,000 of the unique convertible tablet in April and May. Demand for the Transformer has made it very difficult to find in stock in the U.S., prompting ASUS to ramp up production to meet demand.

Angry Birds Rio updated in Amazon Appstore, iTunes App Store

Angry Birds Rio has just been updated in the Amazon Appstore for Android and Apple's iTunes App Store to include the Carnival Upheaval expansion pack. The update brings 15 new levels of gameplay and a new bird type to fling about.
