Samsung Infuse 4G 4.5-inch Android smartphone now available from AT&T Posted: 15 May 2011 07:55 AM PDT In addition to the pint-size HP Veer 4G, AT&T has also made the over-sized Samsung Infuse 4G available for purchase today. The Infuse 4G has one of the largest screens on the market, with a 4.5-inch, Super AMOLED Plus display. It is also very thin and very light at the same time. A 1.2GHz processor powers Android 2.2 Froyo with Samsung's TouchWiz interface. AT&T is selling the Infuse 4G for $199.99 with a new two-year agreement. HP Veer 4G webOS smartphone now available from AT&T for $99.99 Posted: 15 May 2011 07:04 AM PDT AT&T has added a new smartphone to its stable, the HP Veer 4G. The Veer is tiny when compared to many smartphones on the market today, but don't let the size fool you. There is plenty under its hood, including an 800MHz processor to power HP's webOS operating system, and 8GB of built-in storage. The Veer offers users a sliding QWERTY keyboard for easy text input below its 2.57-inch, 400 x 320 pixel touchscreen display. Apple, iPhone score big in new Guinness World Records book Posted: 15 May 2011 06:09 AM PDT Guinness World Records has named a number of mobile related items in its new Guinness World Records 2011 Gamer's Edition book. The Apple iPhone 4 was named the fastest-selling portable gaming system, for example, and Apple's App Store was tagged as the most popular application marketplace as well as having had the largest launch line-up of any gaming system.
