Qualcomm releases augmented reality SDK for Android

Qualcomm announced the release of an software developers kit for its augmented reality (AR) platform for Android smartphones last week. The new SDK will allow developers to create apps with more engaging experiences for users.

An unboxing and video tour of the new Samsung DROID Charge for Verizon Wireless. The DROID Charge is the second 4G LTE-capable smartphone to come out for Verizon. It has a gorgeous, 4.3 inch, Super AMOLED Plus screen with 800 x 480 pixels. A 1GHz single-core Hummingbird processor powers Android 2.2 Froyo with Samsung's TouchWiz interface. The Charge also has an 8 megapixel rear camera and 1.3 megapixel front camera.
