RIM offering BlackBerry Playbook extended service plans available

BlackBerry-maker RIM is now offering extended service plans for its recently launched PlayBook tablet. Currently RIM offers a warranty of one year for the tablet. U.S. and Canadian Playbook owners can now extend service for an additional year for $129. Apple iOS developers threatened over in-app purchasing patents
