Samsung makes it easier for customers to transfer data from the iPhone to a Galaxy S III Posted: 22 Jun 2012 09:02 AM PDT Samsung announced today that it is easing the pain of transferring data from one phone to another for customers that are switching from an Apple iPhone to a shiny new Galaxy S III. To do this, the company is offering Galaxy S III customers the Easy Phone Sync software for free. Easy Phone Sync lets users transfer all of their iTunes content to their Galaxy S III smartphones, including music, personal videos, podcasts, pictures, contacts, and text messages. The software will also sync the Galaxy S III with iTunes, so users can continue to utilize iTunes to manage the music on their computer and transfer it to their phones. Unfortunately, Easy Phone Sync won't do anything for iOS apps that have been purchased, since they are incompatible with the Android software on the Galaxy S III. That just comes with the territory when you are switching platforms, however. Interested Galaxy S III owners can head to www.easyphonesync.com/mobile to download the software for PC or Mac and its accompanying Android app. Read the full story here. |
