RIM denies report about BlackBerry 10 troubles

RIM has issued a statement concerning a report from earlier today that suggested that the company's BlackBerry 10 devices were being delayed because of problems with its core functionality. The smartphone maker categorically denied the report and reiterated the original reason it gave for why the first BlackBerry 10 devices won't arrive until late 2012.

Use of hands-free devices while driving won't be banned, says U.S. government

U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood has announced that his agency, the Department of Transportation, will not back the recommendation made by the National Transportation and Safety Board to ban the use of cellphones while driving, even with a hands-free device.

ASUS sued by Hasbro over use of Transformer name

We almost expected this to happen earlier this year when ASUS introduced its first Android 3.x Honeycomb tablet, but it has taken until now for toy manufacturer Hasbro to bring a lawsuit against ASUS over the use of the Transformer name. It appears that Hasbro takes a greater issue with the name of the new Transformer Prime tablet than the original Transformer, and that is what has spurred the lawsuit.

Evernote brings Skitch to the iPad

Evernote has finally released an iOS version of Skitch, its "tactile annotation" app that has been available on Android for quite some time. Exclusive to the iPad right now, the new iOS Skitch app integrates with the Camera and Photos apps and saves images to a user's Evernote account.
