Verizon issues software update for Motorola DROID BIONIC Posted: 10 Dec 2011 08:07 AM PST Verizon Wireless has released a software update for the Motorola DROID BIONIC that addresses a number of bugs and performance issues with the Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone. The carrier says that the update improves data connections to both 3G and 4G networks, fixes a bug that caused the phone to display a black screen and required a battery pull to resolve, improves performance with the Lapdock accessory, and fixes various other issues throughout the device.
