Radio Shack offering Apple iPhone 4 for as little as $25

Radio Shack is offering some strong incentives to would-be Apple iPhone purchasers. For the next week, through December 11, the retailer will be offering $50 off of all its iPhone handsets to new AT&T customers and existing AT&T customers elligible for an upgrade. The company is also offering an improved trade-in value for working iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS handsets that could allow a user upgrading from an iPhone 3GS to walk out of the store with a new iPhone 4 for only $25. The offer and trade-in incentives are only valid at Radio Shack's retail stores.

Google possibly launching Chrome OS netbook on Tuesday

Signs are starting to point to a possible unveiling of a Google Chrome OS powered netbook on Tuesday now that Google has sent out invitations to a Chrome event in San Francisco.

Barnes & Noble Nook Color SDK now available to developers

Barnes & Noble has released the Nook Color software development kit (SDK) 1.0 to developers. The SDK includes an Android Virtual Device emulator (AVD), sample code, Android Bridge Debug settings (ADB), and documentation for Nook Color files and components. Android sneaking up on Apple and BlackBerry in U.S. market share

A new study from comScore has found that Android is the fastest growing mobile operating system in the United States. While RIM still has the largest mobile OS share according to the company's data, Android is growing the fastest and it's just 1.1 percentage points away from stealing Apple's second place market share.
