RIM purchases video editing company

RIM has announced the purchase of JayCut, a video editing software firm based in Sweden. JayCut made a name for itself developing online editing software, and RIM hints that it may use the newly acquired company's expertise for video editing software for the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet, which is capable of recording 1080p HD (1920 x 1080 pixel) video.

IBM has patented a new touchscreen keyboard technology that adapts to each individual user's anatomy. The keyboard can reposition the keys and adapt their sizes based on the size and position of the user's fingers.
