HP Pre 3 not headed to Sprint at all, millions of webOS fans weep in agony Posted: 09 Jul 2011 08:52 AM PDT Palm debuted its webOS operating system with the Palm Pre on the Now Network way back in June of 2009, but unfortunately the relationship wasn't as peachy as everyone had hoped. Sprint has said that the Palm Pre was a disappointment, and Palm certainly wasn't helped by being pigeonholed into one carrier for such a long time. It looks like the rocky past has not been forgotten by Sprint or Palm's new master HP, as new information has come out claiming that the upcoming Pre 3, and even future webOS devices, will not be headed to Sprint.
