HP Pre 3 not headed to Sprint at all, millions of webOS fans weep in agony

Palm debuted its webOS operating system with the Palm Pre on the Now Network way back in June of 2009, but unfortunately the relationship wasn't as peachy as everyone had hoped. Sprint has said that the Palm Pre was a disappointment, and Palm certainly wasn't helped by being pigeonholed into one carrier for such a long time. It looks like the rocky past has not been forgotten by Sprint or Palm's new master HP, as new information has come out claiming that the upcoming Pre 3, and even future webOS devices, will not be headed to Sprint.

Apple goes after GetJar for use of "App Store"

In its ongoing quest to eliminate any competitors from using "app store" or a like term to describe their application portals, Apple has now sent a cease and desist letter to GetJar demanding that the company drop the use of the term when describing its application market.

HP TouchPad security flaw already found

HP's recently released TouchPad is its first venture into the tablet market with a webOS device. Even though webOS is based on Linux, it doesn't mean that it is immune to security threats, and the first security issue has been found on the tablet, in just a week after launch.
