Posted: 30 Jun 2011 08:09 AM PDT

Microsoft appears to be on a roll with its Android licensing agreements this week, as it has signed up yet another manufacturer of Android smartphones and tablets. Apple's market-dominating tablet, the iPad, now has over 100,000 apps available that take advantage of its larger form-factor. It took only 450 days for the iPad to reach this milestone, and it is leagues ahead of any of its competitors as far as app count goes.
