Full Flash support to come in Android 2.2 "Froyo," says Google's Andy Rubin Posted: 27 Apr 2010 12:08 PM PDT Today Google's vice president of engineering, Andy Rubin, told The New York Times during an hour-long interview that the next version of Android, 2.2, also codenamed codenamed "Froyo," will include full support for Adobe Flash content. Rubin didn't discuss when Froyo would be available, but Adobe has said that Flash 10.1 would be shipping on Android devices during the second half of this year. Read the full story here. |

HTC Desire Android smartphone for O2 delayed until mid-May Posted: 27 Apr 2010 09:34 AM PDT Today O2 announced that testing for the HTC Desire's launch has taken longer than it would have liked, so the device won't launch at the end of April as was planned. The HTC Desire is now scheduled for a mid-May launch, or "very soon." The device will be available starting at £99 ($151.89), and that price fluctuates depending on your monthly plan. Rhapsody 2.0 for Apple iPhone adds offline caching Posted: 27 Apr 2010 09:09 AM PDT Rhapsody recently updated its iPhone application with the ability to download your favorite playlists down to your iPhone (or iPad or iPod touch), so that you can listen to tracks when yo don't have a WiFi or 3G connection.
