LG GD880 "LG Mini" touchscreen phone lands this month with HTML5 support Posted: 07 Apr 2010 05:27 AM PDT LG today said that its GD880 "LG Mini" phone will be available in Europe this month. The device is the first from LG to sport LG's WebKit Phantom Browser, which supports HTML 5 and Flash content. The LG Mini is equipped with a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel camera, WiFi, aGPS, an FM radio, and 7.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity. "Terrific response to our news today about Netflix on the iPad. Nokia Ovi Maps with navigation now free for E71 and E66 smartphones Posted: 06 Apr 2010 06:06 AM PDT Today Nokia said that its Ovi Maps application, which provides free turn-by-turn directions, is now available for the E71 and E66. In order to take advantage of the new free navigation feature, you must install the latest version of the Ovi Maps, otherwise you'll be prompted to make a payment. Microsoft unveiling new "Pink" mobile phones next week? The feature phones, part of project "Pink," could have a focus around social networking and may be released for Verizon Wireless.
