Verizon Wireless NFL Mobile app now available Posted: 13 Apr 2010 02:09 PM PDT Back in March Verizon Wireless said it would soon offer the NFL Mobile app for its subscribers. Today, the application is available. It will provide live coverage of the NFL Draft between April 22nd and April 24th, as well as games throughout the NFL 2010 season. UIt will work on 13 phones including the DROID by Motorola, Motorola DEVOUR, DROID ERIS by HTC, BlackBerry Curve 8530, BlackBerry Curve 8330, BlackBerry Storm2, BlackBerry Storm, BlackBerry Tour, BlackBerry 8830 World Edition, LG Chocolate Touch, LG enV TOUCH, LG VX8360 and Samsung Rogue. Google purchases mobile app firm Plink Posted: 13 Apr 2010 05:13 AM PDT Google recently purchased a mobile application firm called Plink. Plink created an app called PlinkArt for Android smartphones that allowed users to take pictures of artwork to identify the piece, and then lets users purchase a print.
