Apple confirms iPad and Mac launch event for October 16th Posted: 08 Oct 2014 01:45 PM PDT Just over a month after the biggest smartphone launch in history, Apple is ready to do it all again, this time with tablets. The company has confirmed that it is holding a press event on October 16th (next Thursday) to launch the new iPad range and some new Mac products. HTC explains lack of smartwatch in 2014 Posted: 08 Oct 2014 08:05 AM PDT HTC was widely rumoured to be entering the wearable market this year, so much so that renders of the company's smartwatch leaked online and the device was reportedly ready to roll out in September. It is highly spec'd, has a hugely affordable price tag, is not made by a major company, and runs CyanogenMod. Those are all good things, but the OnePlus smartphone is also just rare, which is not so good.
