Until now that is, as a major leak has laid bare some of the finer details of the iPad Air 2 and a new iPad Mini, although the much rumoured iPad Pro is still proving elusive. HTC Desire 612 is a new Verizon smartphone Posted: 06 Oct 2014 12:34 PM PDT HTC has been expanding its smartphone output this year, even if that has not translated to sales of hardware through the quarters. The Taiwanese giant has padded out its lower end range and is targeting more dynamic roll outs in the United States, which is a key market for HTC. Moto G LTE hits AT&T this Friday Posted: 06 Oct 2014 12:12 PM PDT Motorola may have recently released a new Moto G, but the older model still remains a compelling choice, especially if you want a bit of LTE thrown into the mix. The Moto G LTE launched five months ago and if you want a 4G packing version of Motorola's budget king then it is the only game in town. iOS 8 adoption lags behind iOS 7 and iOS 6 Posted: 06 Oct 2014 08:27 AM PDT We reported a few weeks ago that through the first 24 hours iOS 8 adoption was lagging behind that of iOS 7 a year ago, and it seems that is still the case a few weeks in. Analytics firm Fisku says that twelve days after release iOS 8 is lagging behind both iOS 6 and iOS 7 adoption rates, although independent analysts put the number above Fisku's figures but still falling short of iOS 7.
