Nokia E7 Symbian^3 business smartphone starts shipping globally Posted: 07 Feb 2011 05:10 AM PST Nokia this morning has announced it has started shipping its latest smartphone, the E7. The E7 is a Symbian^3 powered smartphone that's geared towards business users with its full QWERTY keyboard. It also offers a large 4-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, USB on-the-go support, a 3.5mm headphone jack with TV-out, free Ovi Maps with navigation, and an 8MP camera. Sprint may announce Android powered Kyocera Echo during NYC event tonight Posted: 07 Feb 2011 05:08 AM PST According to Bloomberg, Sprint will announce a new Kyocera Android smartphone called the Echo during a press event in New York City tonight. Vodafone to offer Google Nexus S Android Gingerbread smartphone Posted: 07 Feb 2011 05:01 AM PST Vodafone has announced today that it is adding the Google Nexus S to its smartphone line-up. The Nexus S is the first handset to offer Google's latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. The Nexus S is manufactured by Samsung and features a curved 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display, a 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor, a 5MP camera/camcorder, and a second VGA front-facing camera for video chats. The Nexus S also supports near field communications (NFC) technology. No word on pricing or availability has been announced at this time.
