Evernote iOS app adds easier method to edit notes Posted: 08 Aug 2012 07:31 AM PDT Evernote updated its iOS app to make it easier for users to touch anywhere to update a note. The new version of Evernote allows users to tap on the body of a note and immediately begin editing. The cursor recognizes the area touched and is placed behind the nearest letter. Samsung Galaxy Note now on sale at T-Mobile Posted: 08 Aug 2012 07:05 AM PDT The Samsung Galaxy Note is now available at T-Mobile. Formerly an AT&T exclusive, the Galaxy Note offers a 5.3 Super AMOLED Plus screen, 8 megapixel camera, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, and 1 GB of RAM. The most notable feature is the S Pen integration that enables the phone to draw, write, and annotate photos or documents. The Galaxy Note sells for $249 on a two-year agreement or $599 off contract. IDC: 85 percent of all smartphone shipments are Android or iOS Posted: 08 Aug 2012 05:49 AM PDT Android and iOS continued their dominance of the smartphone market, according to the latest report from IDC. The top two mobile operating systems combined to account for 85 percent of smartphone shipments in the second quarter of 2012, which is up from the 80 percent reported in the first quarter.
