Apple says iOS 6 will not have default YouTube app Posted: 06 Aug 2012 11:54 AM PDT Apple confirmed today that the default YouTube app will not be available in iOS 6, the latest version of the platform due this fall. AT&T Mobile Share plans available starting on August 23 Posted: 06 Aug 2012 08:41 AM PDT AT&T confirmed that its new Mobile Share plans will launch August 23. Mobile Share was first announced last month as a new option for customers to have a single data plan available to multiple devices. Customers pay one bill for a tier of data, ranging from 1 GB to 20 GB, and a set fee for calling and texting. AT&T reiterated today these plans are optional and it will continue offering individual or family plans to customers. Sony to release Android 4.0 ICS for Xperia P later this month Posted: 06 Aug 2012 05:52 AM PDT Sony has revealed through its official channels in India that it plans to release the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Xperia P smartphone later this month. According to Sony Mobile India's Facebook page, the update will be available to users during the week of August 19 through 25. It is not clear if this information only applies to India or all of the markets where the Xperia P is sold. We really liked the Xperia P in our review - except for the fact that it ran Android 2.3 Gingerbread out of the box - so hopefully the update to Android 4.0 will only make the phone better than it currently is.
