The Taiwanese manufacturer generated revenues of 91.04 billion NT ($3.04 billion) and net profit after taxes of 7.4 billion ($248 million). Samsung set to unveil Galaxy Note follow-up later this month Posted: 03 Aug 2012 05:30 AM PDT Samsung has confirmed reports that it will announce a successor to the Galaxy Note later this month. A spokesperson for the company told Reuters, "We plan to unveil the next Galaxy Note at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event in Berlin on August 29." The statement confirms previous reports that a Galaxy Note successor would be unveiled at the IFA trade show in Germany this month. AT&T HTC One X update removes on-screen menu bar Posted: 03 Aug 2012 04:59 AM PDT AT&T is pushing an update to the HTC One X that fixes one of the few flaws of the highly-rated device. The update removes the large black bar that serves as a virtual menu button. In the bar's place is a new setting that uses the recent apps button to act as a secondary menu option.
