Google Now adds movies, alerts, and manual selection of sports teams Posted: 30 Aug 2012 05:10 AM PDT Google Now, the personalized search feature introduced in Android 4.1, has been updated to provide an experience closer to what Google demonstrated when the product launched. An update to the Google Search Android app adds new cards for movie show times, public alerts for weather emergencies, support for Korea, and the ability to declare your favorite sports franchise. The update is supposed to lists cards for movie show times, but many users report problems with Google Now continuing to show standard web searches.
