Dragon Dictation 2.0 for iPhone iOS 4 now available Posted: 25 Jul 2010 04:19 AM PDT On Friday Nuance announced that the 2.0 version of its popular speech to text input system, Dragon Dictation, is now avalable on the Apple iPhone platform. The app can be used to transcribe anything you say into it for use as a social network update, an email, or a text message. Microsoft licenses ARM's processor architecture Posted: 24 Jul 2010 08:21 AM PDT On Friday ARM, the designer behind most of the world's cell phone and smartphone processors, announced that it has penned a new ARM Architecture licensing agreement with Microsoft. This will allow Microsoft to potentially design its own ARM compatible chipsets, much in the same way that Apple and Qualcomm did with their A4 and Snapdragon processors. Read the full story here. |
