Verizon Wireless HTC DROID Incredible now shipping with 2GB microSD card Posted: 25 May 2010 02:08 PM PDT Today Verizon Wireless took the HTC DROID Incredible offline briefly to update its order form to include a 2GB microSD card. The device already comes with 8GB of storage, and perhaps will now be able to support Amazon's MP3 store, which was originally absent due to the lack of a microSD card. Either way, it's good news for consumers because they're getting more storage for the same price. The phones of those who order today will ship on June 15th. Read the full story here. |

AT&T launches free WiFi hotspot in New York's Times Square Posted: 25 May 2010 06:13 AM PDT Today AT&T announced that it has launched a free WiFi "hotzone" prototype in New York City's Times Square. It will offer coverage for AT&T customers visiting the area with WiFi smartphones, laptops, netbooks, and other connected devices. It's part of a pilot deployment to "explore the use of WiFi to provide an additional mobile broadband option in areas with consistently high 3G traffic and mobile data use." The WiFi hotspot is fairly small, and extends only from 45th street to 47th street near 7th avenue. Read the full story here. |
