LG Optimus Q Android smartphone with 1GHz Snapdragon processor launching in Korea this month Posted: 17 May 2010 11:01 AM PDT Today LG announced the Optimus Q, an Android smartphone with a full QWERTY keyboard and a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Verizon Wireless to offer 3-5 4G LTE phones by May 2011 Posted: 17 May 2010 10:27 AM PDT During the Reuters Global Technology Summit Verizon Wireless' CEO Lowell McAdam said that Verizon Wireless expects to offer 3 to 5 long-term evolution (LTE) phones by May 2011. LTE is Verizon Wireless' fourth generation (4G) network, and it will compete with Sprint's current 4G WiMAX network as it expands to 25-30 markets by the end of 2010. Read the full story here. |

One is a $15 unlimited texting plan for unlimited SMS and MMS texts with $.10 per-minute voice calls. The second is a $50 unlimited voice and text plan. The new plans will be available on Wednesday.
