It says any developers that use that platform will be able to publish apps to both Symbian or MeeGo devices. Nokia also said it will no longer talk about Symbian^3 or Symbian^4 and said that those operating systems are one evolving and improving platform. Read the full story here. |

The firm noted record revenues and earnings and saw a 91-percent growth in iPhone sales over the fourth quarter of 2010. Steve Jobs also said that Apple "still [has] a few surprises left for the remainder of this calendar year." Verizon Field Force Manager for Android now available Posted: 18 Oct 2010 09:12 AM PDT Today Verizon Wireless announced that its mobile worker management tool, Field Force Manager, is available for Android smartphones. The Android version has a redesigned user interface, bar code scanning, and search. It's available for all Verizon Wireless Android smartphones in two versions: limited and basic. The limited version provides information on field teams, including details on current and past travel history. The basic version includes all of the features of the limited edition, but costs $20 per month and adds location-validated mobile time cards and driving directions to job dispatches via Google Maps.
