| Russia may ban iPad, choose BlackBerry PlayBook or Android tablets for government use Posted: 30 Jul 2011 08:40 AM PDT  According to local Russian news sources, the government in Russia is contemplating banning the use of Apple iPads for government use, citing security concerns with Apple's darling. | AT&T to throttle speeds for excessive data hogs Posted: 30 Jul 2011 06:21 AM PDT  AT&T killed off its unlimited plans last summer when the iPhone 4 launched, but it allowed those who had an unlimited plan to keep them, grandfathering them in. Those users have been able to enjoy unlimited data service with their smartphones since then, though their experience will be changing come October 1, as the carrier has announced plans to throttle the speed of unlimited users who exceed a certain data limit.
