Google Play Store surpasses 15 billion app download mark Posted: 08 May 2012 01:56 PM PDT While previously and perhaps better known as the Android Market, Google's Play Store passed the 15 billion download mark recently, ahead of schedule. Google commented to TechCrunch that the milestone was crossed a few weeks ago without any official notification to the press. RIM hires former LightSquared, Sony Ericsson execs as CMO and COO Posted: 08 May 2012 01:28 PM PDT BlackBerry maker Research In Motion has announced two new senior executive hires today. Frank Boulben, formerly VP of strategy and marketing at LightSquared, will take over as RIM's new chief marketing officer. iPhone headed to Nex-Tech, Golden State Cellular, and Pioneer Cellular Posted: 08 May 2012 12:59 PM PDT Earlier today Bluegrass Cellular announced that it will offer Apple's iPhone 4S to its customers starting on May 18. Now regional carriers Pioneer Cellular of Oklahoma, Golden State Cellular of California, and Nex-Tech Wireless of Kansas have announced they will also offer the smartphone on the same date. Pricing starts at $149 for the 16GB model, $249 for the 32GB model, and $349 for the top of the line 64GB variant. Bluegrass Cellular the latest regional carrier to offer the Apple iPhone Posted: 08 May 2012 08:30 AM PDT Bluegrass Cellular has announced that it will offer the Apple iPhone 4S to its customers starting May 18. The 16GB version will be available for $149 with a new two year contract, while the 32GB and 64GB models will cost $249 and $349, respectively.
