ESPN Mobile TV now on Sprint TV

Sprint today announced that its Sprint TV service will now include the ESPN Mobile TV channel. Coverage will begin this month and the channel will broadcast over 800 live events this year. Popular Sprint TV equipped handsets include the HTC Hero, Samsung Moment, Samsung Instinct, Palm Pre, and BlackBerry Curve.

Vodafone U.K to carry HTC Legend and HTC Desire Android powered smartphones

After announcing that it will carry the Google Nexus One, Vodafone today also said that it will carry the Android powered HTC Legend and HTC Desire smartphones. Vodafone will offer its own services on the devices, including Vodafone Music and MyWeb, on top of HTC's Sense user interface. The carrier did not announce pricing or availability.

Nokia revises market share, expects no growth this year

Today Nokia revised its 2009 mobile phone market share from 38 percent to 34 percent and said that it does not expect an increase in market share in 2010. Nokia attributed the decrease in its 2009 market share to better market measurement methods.

CNN Mobile lands on Qualcomm's FLO TV

Today Qualcomm announced a partnership with Turner Broadcasting and said that its FLO TV service will now offer the CNN Mobile channel. The channel will be avaialable on AT&T Mobile TV equipped handsets, such as the Samsung Mythic and LG Arena, as well as the FLO TV personal television device. Qualcommm said FLO TV will soon be available to iPhone and iPod Touch users through the mophie juicepack TV adapter as well.

Apple iPad preorders start today

As of 5:30am Pacific Time (8:30am EST), customers interested in the Apple iPad can pre-order their devices today. The iPad is Apple's first tablet device that will run the iPhone operating system and some models will be available with AT&T data contracts. To order, visit store.apple.com. Apple expects the iPad to ship by April 3rd.

Google Nexus One pops up at Vodafone UK

When the Nexus One launched in January of this year, Vodafone said that it would bring the Android powered smartphone to Europe, it was just a question of when. Today, Vodafone UK posted the phone on its website declaring that it's coming soon. An official date and pricing have not yet been announced, but it looks imminent.
