Virgin Mobile postpaid service ending on May 25th Posted: 02 Mar 2010 11:35 AM PST Virgin Mobile will shut off its postpaid service, which it bought from Helio in 2008, on May 25th. The company told MobileCrunch that "no customer will be automatically migrated to Sprint's postpaid service," but that "current postpaid customers are being given $50 towards the purchase of a Sprint postpaid handset with a new two-year agreement." Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile will be the cornerstone of Sprint's prepaid strategy in 2010, according to a Sprint spokesperson. Read the full story here. |
