The latest release includes support for Google Docs. Google Docs support includes the ability to download, view, and edit files, save and synchronize changes, and upload directly from your iPhone or iPod touch. MIPS Technologies announces free Android debug and development tools Posted: 05 Mar 2010 09:38 AM PST MIPS Technologies today announced two new solutions for Android developers. The first tool is its QEMU open source emulator which provides a virtual space to develop Android application on the MIPS architecture. MIPS will also begin to offer new Arriba Tools for QEMU which includes the Arriba Linux debug, profiling technologies, and plug-in modules such as the Android System Level Event Analyzer. MIPS Technologies enhanced its Android Native Development Kit (NDK) with a compiler and a rich graphical user interface. Apple iPad will be available on April 3 Posted: 05 Mar 2010 06:30 AM PST Apple today announced that the WiFi version of its new iPad will be available on Saturday, April 3rd and that the 3G + WiFi versions will be on the market later in April. Microsoft: Windows Phone 7 Series to support Silverlight, XNA Posted: 05 Mar 2010 05:17 AM PST Microsoft recently outlined a few development features of the Windows Phone 7 Series platform. "If you are a Silverlight or XNA developer today you're [going to be] really happy. New developers to the platform will find a cohesive, well designed API wet with super productive tools," Microsoft's Charlie Kindel said.
