Toshiba AT200 tablet coming to U.S. this spring as the Excite X10, keeps model-thin profile

This evening, Toshiba announced the Excite X10, the U.S. version of the AT200 Android tablet that was originally unveiled at the IFA trade show back in September of last year. The Excite X10 is everything that the original Thrive tablet wasn't, as it features a razor-thin 7.7mm profile and a fast processor.

Fujitsu ARROWS ES IS12F smartphone hands-on at CES 2012

While roaming the 2012 CES Unveiled event in Las Vegas this evening, we stumbled upon the super-thin Fujitsu ARROWS ES IS12F. The ARROWS is, according to Fujitsu and partner Toshiba, the thinnest smartphone available in the world. Measuring a mere 6.7mm thick, that's certainly a believable claim.

CES poster outs Samsung Galaxy Note for AT&T

A poster in a public area of the Las Vegas Convention Center has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Note, a smartphone-tablet hybrid device, is headed to AT&T. The Android powered slate is expected to go on sale next month.

Lenovo brings the LePhone S2 to the rest of the world as the Smartphone S2

Lenovo announces IdeaTab S2, a thin and light Android 4.0 ICS tablet for global markets

This evening Lenovo took the wraps off of its IdeaTab S2 tablet for the global market. The IdeaTab S2 is the international version of the LePad S2010 that was announced for China back in November, and it will ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Next ICONIA TAB from Acer to sport 1080p HD display, quad-core processor

Acer held a press conference to kick of the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show this afternoon, and after showing a bevy of ultrabook notebooks, the company revealed what its next-generation ICONIA TAB tablet will bring. Acer says that the successor to today's ICONIA TAB devices will feature a 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixel) display and will be powered by a quad-core processor. Unfortunately, we don't have any other details about the new tablet or any official images of it, but it's safe to say that it will likely run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich when it is officially launched. We would also guess that the quad-core processor inside of it is the NVIDIA Tegra 3 used in the ASUS Transformer Prime, but Acer could also use a Qualcomm processor, so we will just have to wait to find out more about it. We will bring you more information on what Acer is debuting at CES as we get it.
