Adobe Flash Builder can now create apps for iOS, BlackBerry Tablet, and Android

Today Adobe announced updates for its Flash Builder 4.5 and Flex 4.5 application development tools that allow developers to build applications for Apple's iOS platform as well as RIM's BlackBerry PlayBook.

iPad users blocked from viewing The New York Post online

Users of Apple's uber-tablet, the iPad, are being blocked from viewing The New York Post online using the device's built-in Safari browser and are now being greeted with "Thanks for coming. NYPost.com editorial content is now only accessible on the iPad through the New York Post App." With the paywall now in place, would-be readers will have to pay a whopping $6.99 per month subscription fee to get access to the content that was previously accessible from the newspaper's website for free. The NY Post is also offering subscription packages of $39.99 for six months or $79.99 for a year's worth of iPad access. For the time being, at least, third party web browsers for the iPad can still provide direct web access to NYPost.com content without the application.

Video: Motorola XPRT (Sprint) global Android smartphone hardware and software video tour

The Motorola XPRT for Sprint is a re-badged version of the DROID Pro that launched on Verizon Wireless late last year. It features a QWERTY keyboard situated below a 3.1-inch, HVGA touchscreen. Powered by a 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM, the XPRT runs Android 2.2 Froyo with a custom interface from Motorola. The XPRT is packed with a large 1860mAh battery that is said to provide 9 hours of talk time. It is global capable as well, so it can be used on both GSM and CDMA networks across the world. The XPRT is available from Sprint now.

Apple, Samsung executives talking over patent lawsuit

The patent lawsuit between Apple and Samsung has gotten quite embroiled, as the companies have gone tit for tat with requests and statements. It may coming to an end though, as an attorney for Apple revealed in court that high-level executives from the two companies are in talks regarding the lawsuit.
