Motorola launches the Moto G, available today

Motorola struck gold when it launched the Moto G back in 2013, the company delivered a smartphone that was affordable but wouldn't completely embarrass itself in Flagship Company. The original G brought very solid specs and a neat if uninspired design to the masses, the budget phone par excellence. Motorola has now launched the new Moto G, deciding not to change the name at all, but this is the 2014 Moto G, so what's new?

Motorola has been avoiding the hustle and bustle of IFA in Berlin and having a lower key launch of its new products in Chicago. During the event the American company unveiled its brand new flagship, a sequel to the well received and moderately successful Moto X. The handset ups the ante in terms of premium design and has solid specs to match, it is called the Moto X.
