This is the smartphone with the square screen, the one Blackberry says will cement its reputation with the enterprise market and may even spring a few surprises with general consumers. Boost and Virgin Mobile confirm the HTC Desire 510 Posted: 24 Sep 2014 07:07 AM PDT Sprint said last week that it would be carrying HTC's budget Desire 510 handset, but it was also revealed it would be arriving on the Boost and Virgin Mobile networks. Those two carriers have now officially confirmed the 510 in their line-up, bringing a decently spec'd and mega-affordable HTC built smartphone to their customers. Read the full story here. |
Samsung rolling out the Galaxy Note 4 to 140 countries by October Posted: 24 Sep 2014 06:40 AM PDT There's plenty of heat surrounding the Galaxy Note 4 at the moment. Yesterday we saw reports that Samsung was running scared of Apple and would launch the device early in its Korean homeland, and then we found that the device had in fact sold out of its pre-order run in the country. My own Samsung source said that the company's roll-out timetable for the Note 4 is continuing as scheduled and that the giant had long planned for Apple's impact. Read the full story here. |
Samsung confirms Gear S for all major carriers this fall Posted: 24 Sep 2014 05:31 AM PDT Samsung's smartwatch line up is getting plenty confusing. There are now six Galaxy Gear wearable products available and the company is rolling out the latest, the Gear S, during this fall. If you are not sure which smartwatch the Gear S is then let me explain that it's the one the company launched at IFA a few weeks ago, the one that allows the user to make and receive calls without a smartphone connection.
