Jyske Markets analyst Robert Jakobsen believes that this update may be more crucial than we'd expect. "For Nokia it is now important to convince potential customers that the Symbian operating system is still alive and kicking, so that the sales of Symbian smartphones will suffer as little as possible during the transformation to Windows Phone," Jakobsen said.
