Google updates weather search for Android, iPhone

Today Google announced that it has updated its weather search page on Android and iOS devices. Users can visit google.com from their smartphones and search for 'weather' to see some new changes. At first it may look similar to the old weather homepage: you'll see the current conditions for your location. However, you can now move a slider to view how the weather changes during the next 12 hours in an hour-by-hour breakdown. The temp, wind speed, and humidity will all update depending on the forecast for the day. The background color may also change based on the time and weather. Results for any weather search will be listed below this new snippet. We just checked it out and it looks like a pretty solid improvement, check it out for yourselves.

Google launches Cloud Print beta on iPhone, Android

Today Google announced that its Cloud Print service will soon be available on mobile devices. Cloud Print will let Android and iPhone owners to print anything from Google Docs or Gmail wirelessly, provided they have configured their printer to work with Google Cloud Print. The setup for Google Cloud Print currently requires a Windows PC but Google says that Linux and Mac support is coming soon. Google said Cloud Print is rolling out today and tomorrow and should work on most devices that support HTML5 content.

Woman hangs up on Apple after winning $10,000 iTunes gift card

A U.K. woman named Gail Davis hung up on Apple after receiving a phone call alerting her that she had won $10,000 for downloading the 10 billionth application.

Huawei sues Motorola for IP infringement

Today Huawei announced that it is suing Motorola for IP infringement. Huawei has asked Motorola for assurance that it has not disclosed private information to NSN, a company that purchased Motorola's wireless network in 2010. Huawei says that Motorola has not yet provided that assurance.

The Motorola CLIQ 2 for T-Mobile USA is an Android 2.2 Froyo smartphone that comes equipped with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a large, 3.7-inch touchscreen display.
