AT&T will enable FaceTime over Cellular for iPhone 5 and LTE iPad customers on any tiered data plan

AT&T has announced that it will allow any Apple iOS 6 customer with an LTE device to use FaceTime over Cellular, ending a practice that previously allowed only customers on a Mobile Share plan to access the video calling feature.

AT&T announced on Tuesday that it would begin selling the Windows Phone 8X by Thanksgiving, but the carrier has shortened the wait time and announced that the Windows Phone 8X will be available tomorrow, November 9.

Verizon puts Windows Phone 8X and Nokia Lumia 822 up for pre-order Nov. 9

Verizon Wireless previously said it would deliver the first of its planned Windows Phone 8 devices by Thanksgiving, and the carrier has just announced that tomorrow it will begin accepting pre-orders for the Windows Phone 8X by HTC and Nokia Lumia 822. The announcement does not add a confirmed delivery date for either handset, but Verizon announced pricing information for both phones last week. The Nokia Lumia 822 will cost $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and the Windows Phone 8X by HTC will cost $199 on a two year agreement.

Verizon will finish 4G LTE deployment by mid-2013

Verizon Wireless originally estimated that it would complete its 4G LTE network buildout by the end of 2013, but CFO Fran Shammo said at an investor conference today that the carrier now believes its network will be complete months ahead of schedule.

AT&T will begin offering the MiFi Liberate, a mobile hotspot with a 2.8-inch touchscreen, on November 16. AT&T today announced that the Novatel-manufactured mobile hotspot will launch on its 4G LTE network next week for $49.99 on a two-year agreement.

Samsung Galaxy Express coming to AT&T Nov. 16 for $99

AT&T today announced that it will sell the Samsung Galaxy Express for $99.99 on a two-year agreement. The midrange phone announced in September has a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, a 2,000 mAh battery, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich software. The 4G LTE-capable Galaxy Express will go on sale November 16.
