Facebook adds Share button to Android, iOS, and mobile web

Facebook's mobile apps now support sharing posts on smartphones, a feature previously available only on the desktop version of its website. Facebook today updated its apps for Android and Apple iOS to include a share button that lets members re-post status updates to their timeline. A similar feature was added to its mobile website as well. Other enhancements to the Android app include improved photo tagging and the ability to create a photo album. The iOS version gained improved photo tagging and the addition of smiles, hearts, and emoji in messages.

AT&T today spread its 4G LTE service into new areas, making the Twin Cities of Minneapolis-St.Paul the latest to be included in its 4G coverage map. Today's launch follows yesterday's unveiling of LTE service in Daytona Beach, Denver, Louisville, Milwaukee, and the Provo-Orem area. AT&T also confirmed that it has expanded coverage in Anne Arundel County, Md.; York, Penn.; and the surrounding suburbs of the greater Seattle area.

Thieves steal $1.5 million worth of iPad shipment in New York

A group of thieves managed to steal $1.5 million worth of Apple iPad Minis from a cargo building at John F. Kennedy airport, making off with about 3,600 tablets before escaping security.

Mobile phone sales decline but Apple and Samsung push smartphone sales up, says Gartner

Though worldwide sales of mobile phones declined in the third quarter of 2012, smartphone sales increased 46.9 percent. The biggest causes and beneficiaries of the increased demand for smartphones were Apple and Samsung.

Flipboard, known best for aggregating articles and videos curated from popular sources and social networks, now integrates with iBooks by showing lengthy descriptions of books and links to purchase the full text in Apple's iBookstore. Samsung Black Friday deal will cut up to $100 off tablets beginning Sunday, lower phone accessory prices
