| Barnes & Noble dropping price of NOOK Tablet and NOOK Color Posted: 03 Nov 2012 08:30 AM PDT  Barnes & Noble will lower the price of two of its NOOK devices this week. Beginning November 4, Barnes & Noble will sell its NOOK Tablet for $159 and its NOOK Color for $139. The NOOK devices, which normally cost $199 and $149 respectively, are being dropped to their lowest ever prices as part of a promotion for the holiday shopping season. Customers will be able to visit Barnes & Noble retail locations in the U.S. or NOOK.com to purchase either device. The NOOK Tablet will cost $159 for its 8GB model and $179 for the 16GB version.
