Microsoft says that it is now investigating claims after several users complained on forums at WPCentral that the phone mysteriously reboots, loses power at an abnormal rate, or has issues with synchronizing email.

Google Play Music licensing deal adds 5.5 million songs to music venture in Europe

Google has reached a licensing agreement that should make it easier for the company to expand its Play Music download and streaming service in more European countries. Google has secured a licensing deal with Armonia - a group that represents several other licensing entities in France, Italy, and Spain - that will grant Google licensing rights for more than 5.5 million songs. The deal also includes songs from American artists and Sony's Latin division, allowing Google to sell music in and from more than 35 countries.

OpenFeint game plug-in shutting down in December, forcing more than 1,000 apps to migrate to GREE

Samsung asks to see Apple-HTC settlement details, iPhone 5 and Galaxy S III added to patent lawsuit

Samsung and Apple's patent battles have more bones for the two companies to fight over. A U.S. Magistrate Judge has granted permission for flagship devices from both companies to be added to a lawsuit, and Samsung now wants to know the details of Apple's deal with HTC.
